Phlebotomy Supervisor supervises the day-to-day function of the Phlebotomy team and service both for inpatients and outpatients. Ensures that specimens for ordered laboratory tests are collected and handled correctly and expeditiously. Maintains a safe and professional environment for patients, clients, and employees. Functions independently within broad scope of established policies and goals. Refers specific problems to the Technical Laboratory Supervisor or Manager or Director where clarification, interpretation, or exception to hospital policy, may be required. Key Responsibilities:
