POSITION SUMMARY:

Support the long-term commercial strategies across all Nestle USA Divisions through scenario development and analysis of One Operations based projects & solutions. The Strategy Expert will support our One Operations stakeholders with project analysis structure, analytics, and communications to drive alignment on project feasibility recommendations. The Strategy Expert will also be the lead SME to develop, maintain, and present long-term capacity views for all manufacturing lines within their assigned categories. This includes modeling of multiple supply scenarios to optimize the E2E supply chain.

This role relies on a multi-disciplined team performing a range of in-depth analyses on market dynamics, E2E operations, competitor, and financial information. Final recommendations are presented to senior management enabling them to make decisions in the strategic horizon. This exposure allows for developing a strong network across different functional areas within Nestle, both within One Operations and our commercial teams.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key activities of a One Operations Strategy Expert include:

  1. Partner closely with the OOS Division Leads to understand divisional strategy needs based on the long-term strategy roadmap (Future Operations Landscape) and work across all One Operations functions to comprehend all E2E impacts.
  1. Monitor and analyze manufacturing capacity, including simulation of multiple demand scenarios, providing insights on watch points and recommendations to optimize
  1. Assess strategic sourcing scenarios to articulate tradeoffs between different options and frame key strategic decisions for executive stakeholders to make well informed decisions
  1. Lead the early feasibility analysis for major One Operations projects, collaborating across all One Ops functions to develop a budgetary business case and recommendation
  1. Understand the roles of production lines and identify improvement opportunities in the assignment of SKUs to lines. Communicate cost reduction and CAPEX avoidance opportunities for follow up action.
  1. Own and improve capacity modeling tools & techniques to continually improve speed and efficiency in scenario modeling.
  1. Other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

* Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics or engineering. MBA preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

* At least 5 years of experience in a strategy, operations or finance area preferably in the CPG sector.

* Asset utilization analysis and Financial analysis (cash flow analysis and investment evaluation), such as work as an industrial engineer, manufacturing co-pilot, supply chain planner, or factory supply chain manager

* Familiarity with manufacturing operations and planning

* Project management experience preferred.

* Experience presenting to executive audiences preferred

* Well-organized with attention to detail

* Microsoft Office - specifically Excel modeling and Power Point
