PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Under the general supervision of the HR & Corporate Services Senior Manager, this position serves as the face and voice of GROWMARK, delivering unsurpassed customer service to visitors, guests and employees. Responsible for managing front desk operations, this role ensures a welcoming and organized lobby environment, efficiently handles incoming calls and inquiries, and performs a variety of administrative tasks.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Greet and welcome visitors, guests, and employees in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring needs are met promptly.

Manage access control by issuing visitor badges, monitoring visitor sign-in and sign-out procedures, and promptly removing system access for terminated employees to maintain a secure and compliant workplace environment.

Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth visitor arrivals by notifying employees of guest presence, managing the check-in process for large visitor groups, and, when requested, updating the Lobby TV welcome slide via Embed to deliver a personalized and professional guest experience.

Support new hire onboarding by creating a personalized welcome slide for display on building TVs, assigning temporary badges, and printing official badges upon receipt of employee photos to ensure a smooth and welcoming integration process.

Monitor and retrieve voicemail messages from the operator phone line, and promptly forward them to the appropriate contacts to ensure timely communication and response.

Provide accurate information about GROWMARK, including its products, services, office hours, locations, and basic company policies, while directing inquiries to the appropriate person or department as needed.

Perform administrative tasks within AlertMedia, including adding and removing non-GROWMARK employees, managing user groups, and maintaining message templates; remain prepared to assist with message creation and distribution during actual or imminent events to support effective emergency communication.

Utilize Embed software to design and manage informational content for display on building-wide TV monitors, ensuring timely and relevant communication to employees and visitors.

Coordinate and publish the weekly food truck schedule, ensuring timely updates are displayed on the Coffee Station digital slides, printed and posted in vestibule areas, and communicated to all employees via email.

Receive and manage lunch and catering orders, ensuring timely notification to employees upon order arrival to maintain efficient service.

Receive incoming packages and deliveries and promptly notify the Corporate Services team to ensure efficient handling and distribution.

Manage the 1705 SharePoint site on employeeCentral.

Actively engage with local businesses to establish employee discount partnerships and maintain the employee discount page to ensure up-to-date and accessible resources for employees.

Coordinates and communicates building information to employees as needed.

Maintains inventory of office supplies; regularly checks stock levels and reorders supplies as needed to ensure their availability.

Continuously monitor security camera feeds throughout the shift and promptly contact ALERT - 1705 Towanda via Microsoft Teams in the event of any suspicious activity to support workplace safety and security protocols.

Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a high school diploma or equivalent and proven experience in a customer-facing role.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.

Proven customer service, teamwork, business writing, communication, and business etiquette skills.

Must demonstrate the ability to retain confidential information.

Must have experience and be comfortable working in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Ability to work hours beyond those considered "normal".

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
