Preferably, YOU have:

  • 2 to 5 years of outside sales experience preferably within the waterworks, construction, or municipal sector
  • Experience working in construction supply or industrial distribution
  • Prior experience work with general contractors and/or municipalities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for municipal customers within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with city officials, engineers, water districts, and contractors.
  • Identify project opportunities through public records, bid platforms, and municipal planning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals
  • Actively participate in local waterworks associations, city council meetings, or engineering events as needed
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of products, services, industry trends, and compliance requirements
  • Track project pipelines and follow through on timelines, submittals, and post-bid processes
  • Deliver quarterly updates on territory activity, wins/losses, and market challenges
  • Strong understanding of public bidding processes and municipal procurement cycles
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with public sector clients
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and follow-through skills
  • Experience presenting to public agencies or participating in industry trade shows is a plus

Pay: $46,011.16 - $65,730.23 per year.
