The Opportunity: Specializing in polished, persuasive, and engaging copy across digital and print for Southworth Clubs' portfolio of private golf clubs and communities.

The Marketing Copywriter crafts high-impact copy for Southworth Clubs and its portfolio of premier private clubs and communities. From web and email to brochures and paid media, this role is key in delivering clear, compelling messaging that speaks to both members and prospects while aligning with our premium lifestyle brand.

The ideal candidate brings strong storytelling instincts, exceptional writing skills, and experience in golf, private club, and luxury hospitality marketing.

Duties and Functions

Email Marketing



  • Write and manage copy for member and prospect drip campaigns, newsletters, and solo sends
  • Own the development and quality of branded email content for Southworth Clubs


Website & SEO



  • Write and refresh website page content, including blog posts, to ensure alignment with brand tone and SEO strategy
  • Collaborate with the Director of Digital and marketing managers to ensure consistency with desired website KPIs


Member-Facing Collateral



  • Develop compelling copy for in-club materials including flyers, posters, booklets, and member communications


Prospect-Facing Collateral



  • Create and refine copy for real estate brochures, welcome packets, and branded print pieces targeting prospective members and buyers


Copy Quality Assurance



  • Proofread and edit copy for corporate marketing initiatives for accuracy, grammar, and consistent tone


Brand Alignment



  • Partner with the Creative Director to ensure all content adheres to Southworth's voice, tone, and club-specific brand standards



Qualification Standards



  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • 3+ years of professional copywriting experience (agency or in-house)
  • A portfolio showcasing a range of copy styles and formats
  • Experience in luxury, golf, and hospitality brands is strongly preferred
  • Excellent grammar, voice consistency, and storytelling skills
