Job Purpose

The Sr. Analyst Dealer Development is responsible for the review and processing of Honda Auto and Acura dealer-related ownership transfers, relocations, new points, and various other types of dealer sales and service agreement transactions for dealerships owned by Framework groups.

This position will ensure that dealer transactions/packages reach completion on time to comply with statutory requirements. Responsibilities will include review and analysis of documentation provided as part of the dealer transactions/packages, assisting with the drafting of Letters of Intent, creation of Dealer Sales and Service Agreements, and any dealer licensing documentation required by State agencies. Work with AHM's Dealer Database Management System (DDMS) to maintain Dealer data and be part of the DDMS continuous improvement team.

The position will work closely with the Honda and Acura Assistant Zone Managers of Market Representation in the Region offices to complete dealer packages. Train Contingent analyst workers to ensure they follow SOPs and state laws. Sr. Dealer Development Analyst will also track dealer inclusion/diversity data and produce the related reports and complete the reporting for the annual NAMAD and Rainbow Push reports. Support and assist management for AHM's participation at the annual NAMAD conference. Prepare and send performance reports to the FW groups. Assist managers with preparing presentations for FW groups, senior management, NAMAD etc.

Key Accountabilities

  • Review and processing of dealer buy/sells.
  • Review and processing of dealer relocations.
  • Review and processing of all transactions resulting in changes to Dealer Sales and Service agreements (i.e. major and minor ownership changes, changes to facility, management, successors, renewals, etc.).
  • Review and processing of new dealer open points.
  • Data analytics using the DDMS database.
  • Support ongoing development of Market Rep systems and processes (DDMS). Team member working on DDMS database continuous improvement projects.
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports & presentations for Framework groups.
  • Minority dealer and inclusion/diversity reports & presentations.
  • Preparing for NAMAD conference and supporting team at NAMAD conference.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • BS or BA preferably in Business, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ Years experience in a professional business environment
  • 3+ Years experience in Auto Dealership, or OEM
  • 3+ Years Knowledge and Experience with Auto dealership franchise state laws/requirements.
  • 3+ Years experience with Automotive dealer application or financial documentation or loan processing and analysis
  • Time management, multi-tasking, project management
  • Understanding of accounting and finance principals
  • Experience with MS office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • People skills interfacing with Auto field staff, Dealers, Framework Groups, and NAMAD.
