The Position

The Financial Analyst supports the Financial Controller and performs functions in the areas of domestic and global financial reporting and analysis, forecasting/budgeting, report development, cash management, and other general accounting processes. Primary duties will consist of partnering with internal business partners to conduct budget forecasting and consultation; relying on data reporting and query writing to guide informed data analysis. This position also ensures that Financial Management leadership is well informed of relevant activity. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, the ability to communicate clear financial storytelling to non-technical audiences and will have a demonstrated working knowledge of using Microsoft Excel for data analysis.

The salary range for this role is $56,680-$70,850/year.

Main Responsibilities



  • Analyze business plans and recommend courses of action to achieve short & long-term goals.
  • Coordinate, review, or develop innovation and capital investment proposals.
  • Assist with the month-end closing process, including journal entries and variance analysis.
  • Drive consistent application of established financial controls.
  • Facilitate process improvements to increase efficiency of financial processes.
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Review and analyze the validity of business unit assumptions to provide support for improved decision outcomes.
  • Consolidate and analyze financial data; Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  • Assist with modeling and financial process improvements to affect departmental efficiencies.
  • Review G/L account posting for accuracy throughout the month, assist with correcting system transactions.
  • Coordinating with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts.
  • Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources; Perform required analysis and submit recommendations based upon interpretation of findings.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Adheres to ASQ Competencies: Trust, Accountability, Collaboration, and Transparency.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.



Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Hybrid Office Environment with 2+ days in office at the Milwaukee Headquarters location.

*To be considered for this role, candidates must be located within commuting distance to our office location in Milwaukee, WI.

Bring Your Best: Position Minimum Qualifications



  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field;
  • A Minimum of three years of financial analyst experience;
  • Or an equivalent combination.
  • Must be able to comply with attendance and timeliness policies.
