Shipping/Receiving - 1st Shift ark

Qualifications and Responsibilities

Prepare domestic and international shipments as required to specifications.

Check orders; perform packaging, boxing and crating.

Attach proper shipping instructions and paperwork to all shipments.

Receive all incoming materials and goods.

Verify that incoming materials are undamaged and conform to quantity requirements.

Maintain all necessary records and complete proper paperwork and reports.

Route or deliver all materials to proper stockroom locations or end user.

Communicate effectively with supervisor and purchasing department to ensure proper stocking levels.

Retrieve, combine and deliver kitted parts to various manufacturing areas.

Weigh and attach postage and or other shipping documentation to packages as required by specified carrier.

Load and unload trucks manually and through the use of pallet jacks and fork trucks.

Must be able to acquire and maintain fork truck certifications.

Heavy lifting and moving is required, and must be able to safely use overhead lifting cranes and hoist.

Perform all other duties that may be assigned.
