Add to favorites Favorited View favorites Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $44,200 - Midpoint: $55,300 (Salaried E6) Department/Organization: 401101 - VP Community Affairs Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm Job Summary: The Event Coordinator oversees the implementation, execution, and follow-up for events hosted on- and off-campus. Creates invitations. Selects sites. Creates seating arrangements. Negotiates with florist, caterers, event space staff, print shops, etc. Manages on-site contract staff, students, and etc. Additional Department Summary: Oversees the implementation, execution, and follow-up for events hosted on- and off-campus. Supports the development and coordination of community education programs. Supports program evaluation. Provides technical assistance to both internal and external community partners. Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and some event planning or coordination experience; OR associate's degree and two (2) years of event planning or coordination experience; OR high school diploma or GED and four (4) years of event planning or coordination experience. Skills and Knowledge: Familiarity with and ability to effectively work with K-12 teachers, administrators, families, and community partners.
