Responsibilities

The Education Coordinator, part of the Learning and Development Team and embedded into the Engineering and Construction (E&C) strategic business unit (SBU), is responsible for the administration and coordination of company training programs, and the maintenance of company training systems. The Education Coordinator will synchronize learning & development objectives and activities to ensure responsiveness to the SBU's needs.

  • Coordinate various employee training programs including, but not limited to, web-based and classroom training on topics consisting of annual mandatory training, technical and nontechnical training, as well as development programs.
  • Partner with the Marketing and Communications team to promote company training opportunities to employees and provide information on benefits to encourage participation.
  • Create training schedules for the SBU.
  • Create, track, and manage reports and progress for training and Learning and Development programs conducted for the SBU.
  • Utilize internal billing system to create statement of work and submit for payment of vendor invoices for training and Learning and Development program needs.
  • Produce monthly reports for the Learning and Development team and SBU executives for training and compliance status and usage.
  • Manage the administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs including, but not limited to, Learning Management System administration, roster management, billing, and course scheduling.
  • Maintain relationship with managers to identify potential training and promotion needs and analyze performance deficiencies with employees.
  • Ensure training effectiveness, return on investment (ROI), and determine the impact of training on employee skills.
  • Ensure a timely/quality response to internal customer needs.
  • Understand the end-to-end promotion process to support tracking, administering, and coordinating to ensure the program follows cycle deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Learning and Development team to evaluate program effectiveness through assessment and evaluation for program process improvement.
  • Support and train business unit liaisons to ensure execution of training program needs.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Up to 2+ years of relevant professional experience in a fast-paced, technical, and deadline-driven environment

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while remaining customer-focused and results-driven

  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams

  • Advanced experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS); ability to operate as a power user

  • Proven ability to adapt quickly, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a complex work environment
