Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
Summary: The Vendor Management Manager will oversee the Bank's vendor management program. This includes the oversight of Vendor management processes, system administration, standards, and metrics/reporting. The vendor manager will work with all levels of Bank management in directing and following the vendor management policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

Education and/or Experience A Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a college or university and ten (10) years' experience in banking or the financial services industry and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Computer Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Vendor tracking software. VendorPoint software knowledge preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid California Driver's License. Other Skills and Abilities Must be able to perform in a changing fast paced environment. Changes include process improvements, automation, and technology. Candidate must have excellent technical abilities and must be able to multi-task. Strong attention to detail Strong organizational skills Strong interpersonal skills Ability to work independently Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing, with internal and external (vendors) customers Other Qualifications Five (5) years or more working/managing vendors and vendor relationships Basic contract management experience which includes reviewing contracts, understanding basic terms and general contract language Purchasing experience a plus Operations experience a plus Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Salary Range:$87,612.00 To 124,846.00 Annually 40 hours per week. |
