Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital seeks an Orfalea Children's Center Support Service Technician responsible for providing classroom support for children and teachers by completing various tasks to ensure classroom runs smoothly. Major accountabilities include:



  • Prepares and cleans up after all meal trays in all assigned areas. Assists teachers with cooking-related projects. Responsible for safe and sanitary handling of food, dishes, trays, equipment, and supplies.
  • Cleans and sanitizes classrooms, including toys, classroom materials, and children's sleeping mats as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS:

All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.

Education:



  • Preferred: High school diploma.


Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:



  • Minimum: California Food Handlers Card or ServSafe certificate.


Technical Requirements:



  • Preferred: Knowledge of proper use of cleaning fluids.
