The Associate Director (AD), Global Medical Affairs Training and Education is responsible for the planning and execution of Global Medical Affairs/MSL training and continued education plans related to Eisai's marketed products, pipeline agents, collaborations, and competitors. The AD designs the strategies and tactics for Global Medical Affairs training and education in collaboration with global and regional medical directors and MSL leadership, Publications, Medical Communications, Clinical Development, Biostatistics, Field HEOR, Patient Advocacy, and other functional leads to align training/education activities as well as congress activities. The position serves as a functional lead on cross functional launch planning and other strategic initiatives for Oncology Medical Affairs. The AD will also continually support and update internal educational resources and tools via the Eisai Medical Affairs College. The AD conducts innovative and customized Global training and education sessions to prepare medical affairs personnel to enter strategic and compliant discussions regarding medical/clinical data on Eisai products. The AD assumes a leadership role by assisting with various innovative projects and by teaching, coaching and mentoring MSLs to assist with their onboarding and continued development. In addition, the position will support global MSL teams as needed by providing continuing oncology education and supporting insight collection and exchange by establishing training and mentoring standards and a global MSL insight forum. The AD also appropriately collaborates with external alliance partners on essential training and education programs. This role creates an environment of accountability by communicating expectations, timelines and critical priorities for scientific training. The position fosters collaboration and communication between global and regional medical affairs teams to ensure alignment via appropriate oversight regarding the sharing of resources, reports, education, and needs.Essential Functions Advance Medical and Scientific Knowledge of the Global Medical Team (45%)

Eisai Salary Transparency Language: The base salary range for the Associate Director, Global Medical Affairs Training and Education is from :165,400-217,000 Under current guidelines, this position is eligible to participate in : Eisai Inc. Annual Incentive Plan & Eisai Inc. Long Term Incentive Plan.Final pay determinations will depend on various factors including but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, and skills.
