Job Summary:

The Go-to-Market Finance Manager will be a key contributor to the Financial Planning & Analysis team and plays an important role in shaping the company's growth strategy. This role serves as a strategic partner to Account Management leadership, ensuring investments align with company financial goals and deliver measurable ROI. The Go-to-Market Finance Manager will leverage customer data to develop and implement strategies that drive revenue growth, improve customer experience, and increase operational efficiency. They will work cross functionally providing analytics to support business goals and company outcomes. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical skills, robust financial modeling capability, experience in financial planning and analysis, the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, and experience directly supporting a go-to-market function (including account management, sales, etc).

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis & Modeling: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to analyze customer data to identify high-value segments, growth opportunities, and churn risks.

  • Sales and Marketing Analytics: Develop models and dashboards to track revenue performance, customer health, market segmentation, and account growth potential.

  • Reporting: Provide Account Management financial reporting andensure sales forecasts are accurate and aligned with business goals and work closely with the Sales Operations team to track results.

  • Strategic Insights:Provide actionable insights to leadership into customer behavior, usage patterns, and lifecycle trends to inform account strategies.

  • Monitor and report monthly on key financial and operational metrics, such as CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), LTV (Lifetime Value), payback periods, churn, and Dollar Net Retention.

  • Data Management: Ensure accuracy and integrity of analytical data used to support finance processes and S&M analytics including provide recommendations to continuously improve system and reporting efficiency.

  • Business Decision Support: Create business recommendations informed by data-driven analysis to support the decision-making process, including business performance analyses, benchmarking and ROI analysis.

  • Financial Forecasting & Annual Operating Plans: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term plans, delivering key inputs that will drive the financial forecasting process.

  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support special projects, strategic initiatives, and business cases.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with FP&A leadership and Account Management leadership. Collaborate with various cross-functional teams, including the Executive Leadership team, Finance, Account Management, Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Implementation, etc. to gather data and insights for financial analysis.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics or related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in financial analysis, customer analytics, revenue operations, related roles.

  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).

  • Experience working with sales or account management leadership to drive revenue growth (leading activities such as upselling, retention, customer segmentation, capacity planning, growth targets).

  • Experience with Salesforce.

  • Experience with Financial ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, Onestream, etc.)

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively with senior leaders and deliver results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Finance, or MBA.

  • Experience performing financial statement analysis/modeling.

  • Experience in a B2B SaaS or technology-driven environment.

  • Experience in a healthcare company.

  • Experience getting to know the customer journey to help better shape it.

At Surescripts, base pay is one part of our Total Rewards Package (which may also include bonus, benefits etc.) and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this position is $145,100 - $177,300 per year. Your base pay may vary within or outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including (but not limited to) your qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
