Accounting Specialist

Summary

The Accounting Specialist will perform several accounting duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash transactions, account balancing, journal entries and various other finance responsibilities.

Essential Functions

* Responsible for full accounts payable processing for three entities, including two US entities and one UK entity

* Assist with accounts receivable processing, including invoice generation for the same three entities

* Complete payment transactions for both domestic and international payments via automated check processing, ACH and wires

* Balance accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash

* Complete month-end journal entries for accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash

* Complete account reconciliations for above accounts

* Assist with Financial Quarterly Review completion

* Assist with division quarter-end requests

* Complete special projects including internal, division and corporate requests

* Adhere to all SOX requirements to ensure full SOX compliance

* Perform all aspects of the position according to the PCC Code of Conduct

Education and Experience

• Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance or
• A minimum of two-years experience
• Sox experience preferred
