PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Signature Collection Housekeeping Area Manager is responsible for managing the housekeeping department by working and communicating with the housekeeping supervisors, common area cleaners, and houseperson.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise housekeeping, common area cleaners, and houseperson staff
  • Plan and distribute assignments for the housekeeping, common area cleaners, and houseperson staff to ensure optimal coverage during peak and off-peak periods
  • Establish and enforce cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure proper use of housekeeping equipment and cleaning chemicals including training on safety data sheets (SDS)
  • Collaborate with front desk, operations, and maintenance teams to prioritize homeowner and guest requests
  • Participate in budget planning and expense tracking for housekeeping-related costs
  • Organize departmental meetings to communicate goals, performance reviews, and team recognition
  • Track and report on departmental KPIs, such as guest satisfaction scores and labor efficiencies
  • Recruit, manage, train, develop, and evaluate performance of housekeeping personnel
  • Prepare daily housekeeping "boards" and provide them to housekeepers
  • Oversee and follow up on room inspection sheets and tabulate monthly scores to provide to the general manager
  • Maintain the lost and found department and mail found items to the appropriate address
  • Oversee monthly inventory of housekeeping supplies and order new items as needed
  • Routinely inspect units to ensure company standards of quality and cleanliness are met
  • Responsible for all payroll records, turning in time log reports to the payroll department, and maintaining staffing forecasts with the assistance of the general manager
  • Maintain control of all keys and replace keycards as needed
  • Perform timely billing for housekeeping services, including owner stays, owner guest stays, and deep cleaning/inventory
  • Proactively communicate with owners regarding upcoming services (deep clean/inventory) and schedule deep cleaning
  • Invoice purchase orders and perform credit card reconciliation
  • Act as the Fortessa point person
  • Schedule dry cleaning services for owners and guests
  • Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in supervisory or management housekeeping or property management experience required
  • Prior experience with budgeting, inventory management, and staffing forecasting
  • Bilingual candidates (English and Spanish) strongly preferred
  • Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and work in varied weather conditions
  • Possess a valid Utah driver's license and clean driving record

  • Year Round


PAY RATE:

  • $60,000 - 70,000 annually, dependent on experience
