The Role:

In this role you'll be working as part of the manufacturing engineering team to drive resolution of issues experienced on the Ink production floor and lead/drive continuous improvement of products and processes. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to an organization committed to and focused on improving product and process quality through continuous improvement, Kaizen, Lean Sig Sigma and other problem-solving techniques.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports manufacturing operations daily.
  • Design and documentation of process fixtures using Creo.
  • Performs analysis on production processes to identify areas that require corrective action and/or improvement
  • Fosters continuous improvement by being a Leader of Continuous Improvement teams.
  • Addresses production issues driving to root cause and corrective action.
  • Collect data from tests and compile into a report or graphical form.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical failures and process issues (automation experience including picks and place systems / robotics).
  • Write ink process recipes, reformulations, assembly Instructions and train production.
  • Process equipment CAD layout generation.
  • Mechanical and/or chemical engineer controls; PLC (Allen Bradley) programing, process analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Must be able to sit or stand all day and navigate industrial stairs.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience with a concentration in manufacturing production support, continuous improvement, problem solving and lean.
  • Manufacturing experience involving chemical processes is a plus
  • Bachelor of Science Degree (or relevant experience consistent with required skills and abilities) in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering Technology.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Excel, Word, MS Project, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Creo, PLC Programming, Industrial Controls
  • Travel <10%

Work Arrangement : Onsite

Pay Range: - annually

Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
