What will you be doing?
You'll be at the forefront of designing and building cloud-first applications tailored for healthcare. This includes:
- Architecting and implementing secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-native applications using full-stack development principles
- Building multi-tenant, HIPAA-compliant systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP using containerization, orchestration, and microservices
- Ensuring high availability, performance, and observability across distributed systems
- Collaborating with product managers, clinical stakeholders, and DevOps engineers to define and execute technical strategies
- Leading Agile development practices, CI/CD initiatives, and architectural changes
- Mentoring engineers and driving process improvements focused on scalability, maintainability, and compliance
What will you need to be successful?
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in software architecture and development, especially in cloud-native healthcare applications
- Proficiency in C++ or Rust, with production experience in Python and JavaScript
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools like GitLab CI and Terraform
- Experience with React, Django, Spring, Airflow, and secure development practices
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Preferred:
- Familiarity with DICOM, FHIR, OpenCV, ITK
- Experience with cloud-based medical imaging and real-time visualization
- Knowledge of GPU acceleration, edge computing, and streaming architectures
- Understanding of ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 compliance frameworks
