As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment at a bustling retail and mall location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to provide reassurance to visitors and staff, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. You will be expected to deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with the public, and act as a reliable point of contact for any issues that arise. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and suspicious behavior.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity within the retail or mall environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Armed Lic is required
• Availability across various days and shifts
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
