Salary range:
Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) calculation includes AAMC salary benchmarks for Plastic Surgery ranging from $444,848 - $643,678. The posted UC salary scales set the base pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan. Positions are anticipated in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series and the Professor of Clinical "X" Series, at the Assistant or Associate or full Professor rank. Qualifications The incumbent will be expected to teach fellows, residents, medical students and other academic learners, provide quality patient care, collaborate on research and/or creative works and perform university and public service. Demonstrated evidence of capabilities for excellent teaching and creative works suitable for the series is expected for appointment to this series. Criteria for appointment in the Professor of Clinical "X" Series: The incumbent will be expected to conduct substantial research; provide patient care; teach fellows, residents, and medical students; and perform public and University service. Excellent teaching is an essential criterion for appointment in this series. Criteria for appointment in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series: The incumbent will be expected to teach fellows, residents, and medical students; provide patient care; contribute to scholarly activities; and provide public and University service. The incumbent will be expected to teach fellows, residents, medical students, and other academic learners; provide patient care; contribute to scholarly activities; and provide public and University service. Candidates are welcome to explain how they have contributed to inclusive excellence in their teaching, research, and service. Positions are dependent upon funding. Rank and salary will be commensurate with training, qualifications, and experience.
