Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference. Job Summary Provides leadership for the implementation, development and support of billing applications. Leads the day-to-day operations of the billing systems teams to include management of ongoing operations, financial management, customer service to internal customers, oversight for large scale projects, vendor management and contractual oversight for applications and systems in areas of responsibility.
Essential Functions
Executes and provide leadership to teams for operational and strategic planning, including business requirements, project planning, organizing, budgeting, growth predictions, and allocation of resources. Ensures the billing ITS resources and initiatives are in alignment with strategic objectives. Participates and supports ITS governance committees supporting revenue cycle systems. Works on identification and analysis of areas for potential improvement. Determines focus and scope of improvement areas. Ensures alignment with business processes, tactical and strategic vision and serves a key decision maker for complex issues. Collaborates with operations and other ITS departments to understand system requirements and ensure implementation of solutions that support the overall goals of the organization and provide exceptional customer service. Assists in development of the plan through appropriate governance and builds a team to execute the Prisma Health financial systems strategy. Assists in preparation and management of the annual operating budget. Review budget reports monthly and develop action plans if needed. Develops and manages relationships with vendors and service providers to encourage partnerships, optimize pricing, and maximize quality provided. Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of team members that may include final budget authority, hire/termination authority, performance appraisal responsibility and disciplinary authority. Job will be considered a member of management staff at Prisma Health or affiliate and will have direct reports.
Minimum Requirements
Education - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management or related field of study Experience - Five (5) years directly related work experience

In lieu of the education and work experience noted above, an equivalent combination of work/academic experience may be considered (i.e., nine years related work experience OR Associate degree and seven years of related work experience OR Master's degree and three years of experience).
