Join Macquarie's North American Gas and Power team as a West Power Scheduler located in Houston, Texas. Our Commodity Markets and Finance Division provides a full spectrum offering to clients with exposure to commodities while also providing risk management, financing, physical execution and logistics across the full spectrum of commodities and in all regions. Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility In this role, you will coordinate and implement the execution of Macquarie's West power transactions. You will work with scheduling and trading teams to resolve flow issues, contribute to the optimization of Macquarie's positions and ensure all activity is accurately recorded in internal systems for profit and loss calculations and invoicing. Some evening and weekend work may be required from time to time. What you offer Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility Strong organizational and communication skills and keen focus to detail Ability to make critical decisions, problem solve, work independently, and to multi-task (pathing, tagging and deal entry) under strict deadlines with a complete focus on accuracy. Strong sense of urgency and able to put the role first and get paths/tags out in a timely manner. Be able to identify the problem and provide solutions as "miscommunications" will happen amongst counterparties.
