Job Description

This position will plan, direct and lead Mechanical Engineering staff in the maintenance, improvement and repair of all mechanical equipment and electrical controls. Ensure a safe and efficient operation for all guests and employees..

  • Support the DOE/ADOE Mechanical & Elect in leading the maintenance and repair of all electrical controls, pools, HVAC, kitchen mechanics and refrigeration. HVAC & Refrigeration, plumbing, kitchens and building automation.
  • Monitor the performance of the all Engineering staff.
  • Manage the cogeneration, energy management and mechanical systems to maximize utility savings.
  • Develop and implement training for the Mechanical Engineering staff. Ensure that all staff members can properly operate area related systems.
  • Monitor work orders and preventative maintenance to ensure that work is properly complete and reported.
  • Perform routine inspections and ensure that preventative maintenance programs are carried out.
  • Ensure that the Mechanical Engineering staff is in compliance with OSHA regulations, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and safety precautions.
  • Serve as the Manager on Duty (MOD) for the entire Engineering division.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, a related Engineering field or equivalent additional experience within an Facility Engineering Structure
  • A minimum of five years Mechanical Engineering experience required with a minimum of four years supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience in Hospitality preferred.
  • Universal refrigerant certification as required by the EPA.
  • Journeyman certification preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record required.
  • Material Handling Equipment certification as required (may vary by property).
