Job Requirements:

Our Corporate practice is seeking associates with four to five years of post-JD experience in emerging companies and venture financing. The position is in our Palo Alto office.

Qualified candidates will have experience in the following areas:

  • Experience advising clients on business formation, equity financings, mergers and acquisitions
  • Advising emerging companies and startups through all stages of growth and financing.
  • Work closely with venture capital firms on investments and portfolio company matters.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills including managing teams on transactions.
  • Demonstrated experience training and mentoring junior associates.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor
  • Attorney must be licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in in the state/jurisdiction in which the position is based.
  • Successful candidates will have strong analytical skills and a willingness to positively contribute to a collaborative work environment.
