Womble Bond Dickinson seeks a highly qualified attorney to join its Mass Torts Practice Group in Raleigh, North Carolina.
This position will involve working in an active and dynamic practice that touches all aspects of litigation including discovery, depositions, and motions practice. The candidate will have autonomy to handle assigned cases while at the same time having access to the knowledge and experience of seasoned litigators. The litigators in the Mass Torts Practice Group frequently collaborate to analyze and strategize how to handle each case. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively and cooperatively with medical personnel, paralegals, legal practice assistants, and staff.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of law firm experience involving tort, personal injury, and complex litigation matters
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, a solid scientific or medical background, and experience working with expert witnesses
  • Candidates must be licensed in North Carolina, willing to take the next available North Carolina bar exam, or be eligible to seek admission without examination.
  • Candidate must be willing to travel for conferences, meetings, and other proceedings as necessary.
This position is not eligible for fully remote work, though hybrid configurations of 1 to 2 days per week may be considered.
