We're looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer, Integration to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.

About the role:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will integrate and test multiple software subsystems and external systems, identifying issues related to data exchanges, usability, functionality, safety, and/or vulnerabilities. Develop new automated tests and test utilities, and update code to remain compliant with updated subsystems and external systems.Utilize container technologies to configure deploy software to various lab and customer site environments.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new software.Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for software development and test processes.Stay current with industry trends and advancements in software testing.

What we are looking for:



  • Experience designing, implementing, and/or supporting cloud native container orchestration platforms and technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Istio, HELM, Podman, Docker)
  • Experience with Python, testing frameworks like Pytest, Linux shell scripting and basic CLI tools such as grep, awk, sed, ssh, & scp, developing automation pipelines using tools such as Gitlab and Artifactory, and creating test threads, cases, and steps for SWIT and/or SIT.
  • Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience


Highly preferred:



  • Experience with documentation tools like Swagger
  • Experience with modeling tools like Cameo
  • Experience with Nifi
  • Experience Kafka and REST APIs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail


Clearance Requirements:



  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI


Work Type:



  • Onsite in Dulles, VA
  • May require up to 15% travel


Salary Range:



  • $130,000 - $160,000
  • The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
