Where You'll Make a Difference

  • Lead quarterly and annual reporting of corporate income tax provision, uncertain tax positions, and effective tax rate under U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), ensuring compliance with Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) 740.
  • Ensure accuracy of global effective tax rate and cash tax forecasts, and communicate key results to executive leadership and finance stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement global tax accounting policies and procedures, including process improvements and optimal use of OneSource Tax Provision software.
  • Partner with tax compliance, planning, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and controversy teams to advise on tax accounting implications.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to the tax accounting team, including internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance.
  • Monitor changes in U.S. GAAP, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) requirements, and tax laws, ensuring the team remains informed and compliant.
  • Participate in tax department leadership to set strategic direction, drive team engagement, and lead execution of key priorities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external advisors, and financial statement auditors.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives within the broader finance organization.

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, tax, or a related field; Master's in taxation or accounting is a plus.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of global tax experience, including Big Four public accounting and in-house corporate experience with a U.S.-based multinational public company.
  • Extensive experience with ASC 740 tax accounting and reporting.
  • Experience with tax implications of divestitures, acquisitions, and other M&A activities.
  • Strong knowledge of tax accounting systems, including OneSource Tax Provision and enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvements and leverage tax technology.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing high-performing, diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with strong project management capabilities.
