YOUR IMPACT

OpenText is seeking a driven and experienced Inside Sales Executive (ISR) to join our growing Carbonite + Webroot Channel Sales team. This team plays a vital role in achieving and surpassing revenue targets through strategic pipeline generation, partner engagement, and joint marketing efforts. Our solution focus includes Carbonite cloud backup and recovery (for servers and endpoints), Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS), high availability, server migration, and Webroot cybersecurity offerings.

Together, this portfolio delivers Cyber Resilience-ensuring our customers are protected and prepared in an evolving threat landscape. Our goal is to help partners and customers meet their data protection and security goals while hitting key performance metrics. Our Channel Partners are core to our growth, and this team is the foundation of their success.

As an ISR, you'll own and execute a go-to-market business plan to identify, develop, and grow opportunities within your assigned territory. You'll become a trusted Cyber Resilience expert, working closely with Solutions Engineers and Channel Account Managers to deliver value-driven messaging to partners and their customers. You'll also collaborate with marketing to drive targeted demand generation campaigns and build strategic relationships that fuel long-term growth.

This role is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring strategic thinking, strong sales instincts, and a proactive approach to partner success. You'll be on the front line representing both Carbonite and Webroot, helping customers navigate their cyber resiliency journey. WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals

  • Guide customers and partners through each stage of the sales process

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teammates including ISRs, SEs, BDRs, and PAMs

  • Build and nurture executive-level relationships within existing partner accounts

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with company goals

  • Prospect and sell into new SMB and small mid-market accounts that benefit from our solutions

  • Partner with Sales Engineers to deliver sales and technical enablement-positioning us as the go-to vendor

  • Maintain high levels of productivity in an independent, remote work environment

  • Demonstrate resourcefulness and agility in working across teams and functions

  • Navigate contracts and resolve partner-related concerns with professionalism

  • Support channel marketing with lead generation strategies and partner-specific campaigns

  • Conduct account mapping and drive brand awareness in collaboration with partners

  • Represent Carbonite + Webroot at virtual and in-person trade shows and industry events

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • 2+ years of sales or account management experience (SaaS experience preferred)

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and accelerating growth

  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills

  • Experience managing sales pipelines, generating leads, and closing deals with channel partners and end users

  • Ability to confidently articulate the Carbonite + Webroot value proposition and tell the cyber resilience story

  • Solid market research and competitive analysis skills

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% (easy access to airport preferred)

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, endpoint protection, and/or data backup solutions

Estimated base salary: $65,000 USD
