Senior Project Manager - JLL What this job involves:

As a Senior Project Manager at JLL, you will hold a critical position within our Northeast Team and be directly responsible for leading and delivering challenging projects for a financial services client. You will manage the entire lifecycle of projects (4 to 8 projects at one time), from initial planning and due diligence phases through design and construction. Acting as the primary senior level contact with the client throughout the project duration, you will utilize your expertise to oversee and ensure successful delivery of Corporate Interior projects ranging in size from $1M to $50M+. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in project management will be instrumental in driving project success while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of projects, including programming, design, schedule, entitlements, bidding, permitting, execution and close out
  • Prepare weekly detailed review of project updates, identifying and communicating risks early while providing solutions to meet client-driven schedules and budgets
  • Act as the primary senior level contact with the client throughout the project duration from programming through construction close out
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables aligned with clients' goals and expectations
  • Develop Master Project schedules and manage project performance against schedules, milestones and critical path items across multiple projects
  • Develop detailed project budgets based on historical and market data with clearly defined budget assumptions
  • Guide clients and teams through the design implementation process from conceptual through construction documentation and signoff
  • Prepare RFPs for design and contractor services and manage the overall vendor selection process
Required Qualifications:
  • 7-15 years of experience in project management, preferably in Corporate Interiors
  • Deep knowledge of construction methods, entitlements, building codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Experience in developing both high level and detailed budgets and schedules
  • Experience managing multiple diverse types of Corporate Interior projects, varying from $1M to $50M
  • Firm knowledge of construction, architecture, or commercial real estate industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to make sound decisions in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Products, including Microsoft Project
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field: Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, etc.
  • Experience with financial services clients and understanding of their unique requirements
  • Ability to read construction plans and identify potential areas of concern or hidden costs
  • Experience with vendor management and contract negotiations
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in corporate environments
  • Experience with project management methodologies and innovative approaches
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
