Summary:

Typical day:

- Case Follow-Up and Coordination: Communicate with internal teams (e.g., HR, labour & employment, investigations) to gather information, ensure timely progress on investigations, and track outcomes.
- Documentation and Reporting: Update case management software with investigation findings, outcomes, and remediation steps; prepare regular reports/metrics for leadership.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct compliance- and ethics-related research; identify trends or risks emerging from reported incidents.
- Guidance and Advising: Provide compliance and ethics guidance to business partners, addressing policy questions or emerging concerns.
- Project Work: Support special projects as assigned by the Chief Compliance Officer or Compliance management team, such as policy reviews or process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- The Paralegal, Enterprise Integrity & Compliance will have responsibility for matters reported into the Client Integrity Line (ethics hotline), as well as other reporting to Client Compliance & Ethics, including.
- Documenting intake, gathering information, monitoring, reviewing findings/investigation outcomes, ensuring timely resolution of reported incidents, and reporting case management metrics to management.
- Report to the Manager, Enterprise Integrity & Compliance, and work closely with one or more analysts, other members of the Compliance and Ethics team, labour and employment team, human resources, investigations, and various other business groups across the Client enterprise.
- Ensure that allegations of misconduct are thoroughly investigated, legal and compliance requirements are met, and remedial and mitigating actions are taken as appropriate.
- Business units are informed of any necessary actions required on their part.
- Provide business partners with guidance and advice on a large variety of compliance and ethics matters, as well as analyze reported incidents for potential misconduct trends or other emerging risks to the business.
- Conduct compliance-related research and work on projects as may be assigned by the Chief Compliance Officer and other members of the Compliance management team, and will make recommendations for compliance-related policies and procedures.
Preferred background/prior work exp:
- Legal or Paralegal Training: Formal paralegal certification or legal background, ideally within corporate compliance or ethics.
- Compliance/Regulatory Experience: Previous work in a compliance or ethics function (internal investigations, risk assessment, or policy development).
- Industry Knowledge: Telecom industry knowledge can be beneficial, but broader corporate compliance experience may also suffice.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with HR, legal, and management teams on sensitive and confidential matters.

Must Have:
- 3-4 years of Minimum experience in Compliance.
- Bachelor's Degree.
