The hiring range for this role is:

73,654.77 - 109,023.20

This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the hiring range and this hiring range may also be modified in the future. A candidate's position within the hiring range may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.This job is also eligible for annual bonus incentive pay.

Job Description Summary:

This role is responsible for participating and assisting in strategic sourcing projects and activities. Partners with internal and external stakeholders to help define specifications and requirements to source and procure goods and services with focus on best value for the organization. The job may require conducting market research, data collection and analysis, providing recommendations based on economic and financial analysis and developing/drafting/reviewing contractual documents including requests based on the stakeholders' needs. The role will support and lead contract negotiations adhering to the established purchasing policies and processes of the organization and is expected to have excellent project and time management skills to manage several sourcing projects and contracts at a given time. The role may contribute to specific category/contract management efforts.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supports the growth of the assigned contracts and categories by tracking contract progress and/or contract adoption and utilization.
  • Serves as a lead in the contract and award process, negotiates solely or assists in contract negotiations to completion with all applicable and necessary terms. Resolves problems that arise in relations to contract specifications, delivery dates or cost of purchased goods or services.
  • Prepares reports, written materials, presentations, promotional materials and performs analysis to support the work within assigned categories and track benchmarking of category spend. Communicates and interacts effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders through 1x1 meetings, webinars, presentations, and ad hoc engagements.
  • Reviews engagement requests and collaborate with stakeholders regarding requirements, specifications, delivery requirements. Recommends alternate suppliers where savings or enhancements can result. 10%
  • Conducts market research, price analysis, organizes and synthesizes data from various sources, identifies trends/opportunities and makes recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Supports the requests process by including finalized specifications and requirements, developing and conducting the bid process, analyzing and assessing suppliers' responses and making recommendations based on collected data.

Required Education, Certifications and Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration or equivalent work experience

Experience:

  • 4+ Years experience in Supply Chain, Sourcing, Procurement or any related function Required

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned work/categories and projects
  • Ability to build strategic relationships with various stakeholders
  • Effective contract negotiations skills leading to optimal contracts
  • Ability to structure, develop and enhance contractual documents including, but not limited to: Master Service agreements, Work Orders, Amendments
  • Address problems quickly and effectively using factual data, possess situational flexibility and can identify the necessary resources for efficient resolution of issues, driving to results
  • Working knowledge of purchasing/sourcing processes including sourcing tools and applications
  • Ability to function in ambiguous and time sensitive situations
  • Create reports, analysis and project management plans
  • Clear, concise, and confident interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Certifications & Licenses:

  • Preferred: Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) - ISM

Additional Information:

  • Experience in Supply Chain, Sourcing, Procurement or any related function

  • Experience in developing presentations, drafting briefs and presenting to all levels of management
