DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and engaging in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for a range of applications. Your primary duties will involve collecting user requirements through interviews, reviewing existing documentation, and developing use cases along with additional requirements. You will also collaborate with various departments to ensure the necessary infrastructure and support for applications, while documenting test outcomes and addressing any defects. Regular updates on the status of enhancement and defect initiatives will be communicated to Executive Management, business units, and vendors. Strong communication skills are crucial, as you will interact with external management, contractors, and a variety of internal and external business partners. Furthermore, you will act as a liaison between business users and IT personnel, facilitating system modifications and coding. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- May be required to work when a full-day and/or partial-day office closing is authorized. To include but not limited to early dismissals for inclement weather; the day before holidays; special holiday closings.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Five years of business process analysis experience; or
- One year as a Business Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year as an Information Technology Trainee (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of business process analysis experience and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
