Clerical Assistant Digital

Hourly Pay Rate: $15.75 - $23.63

Closing Date: July 21, 2025, or upon receipt of the first 50 application submissions received

Job Summary: Perform a variety of digitally oriented clerical duties related to legal discovery for prosecutors and prosecution teams in the District Attorney's Office. This position will support the discovery process by organizing discovery items and by converting non-digital prosecution files to digital format.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:



  • Convert pre-digital, paper files to digital format and scan, rename, organize, and attach files to PROTECT, the District Attorney's digital case management system.
  • Organize, create folders and upload digital discovery into AXON from our current digital discovery folders.
  • Update case information, professional records, charge statuses, attach CCAP documents, update arrest records and the location of digital discovery in PROTECT, the District Attorney's Office case management system.
  • Performs any and all other duties as may be assigned.


Minimum Education and Experience:



  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Current resident of State of Wisconsin
  • At least one year of office clerical experience that includes customer service, data entry and typing.


Note: This position is eligible to telework at 20%, subject to manager approval and the needs of the department.

Required Skills and Abilities: Customer contact with employees or others primarily at a routine level involving basic information exchange. Working with distressed and sometimes emotional individuals in person and over the phone. Information exchange with peers and others outside the organization involving explanation of information and the gathering of factual information, which may include communication of sensitive or confidential nature. Gather information, answer queries, and/or ask for assistance. Read, write and comprehend simple instructions, type reports, short correspondence and memos. Knowledge of all general office equipment computers, copiers, fax machines and multi-line phones.
