Position Overview As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will utilize superior knowledge and exposure to perform highly complex product testing, systems analysis, research, maintenance, configurations, and other testing activities. You will also play a key role in the development of work teams with good team player skills. You will also be involved in cross-team planning activities such as providing status updates and coordinating activities.Roles and Responsibilities: Quality Assurance: Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for web applications built on Automation and Manual Testing Tools, ensuring the reliability, functionality, and usability of the applications. Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Python-based tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, pytest,Playwright, copilot ) to streamline testing processes and enhance efficiency. Regression Testing: Conduct thorough regression testing to identify and mitigate any potential issues or bugs introduced during the development process. Performance Testing: Perform performance testing to assess the responsiveness, scalability, and stability of web applications, and collaborate with the development team to optimize performance. Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to understand project requirements, identify potential risks, and provide QA insights throughout the development lifecycle. Documentation: Create detailed test cases, test reports, and documentation to facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing within the team. Knowledge of dimensional modeling and data warehouse concepts, such as star schemas, snowflakes, dimensions, facts Ensure all sign offs on deliverables (overall test strategy, test plan, test cases, and that testing meets governance requirements Responsible for ensuring quality of their work the work of the entire development team. Review Data Models, Data Mappings, Architectural Documentation to create/execute effective SIT Test Plans and SIT test cases. Validates data by running queries in the database and verify that the results match the expectations. Analyzes and troubleshoots erroneous results, determines the root cause of defects, logs the defects in HP Quality Center/ALM and enables defect management, including working with the development team on the resolution of Software related defects. Works closely with software development team (Business Analysts, Developers & other testers) to ensure timely and effective testing effort. Writing queries to extract data for test case data comparison. Please note at this time we are unable to proceed with candidates who require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
