As the Packout Operator, you will beresponsible for packaging PETN in the PETN process. You will operate machinery including industrial powered equipment.

What You'll Do

As the Packout Operator, you will beresponsible for packaging PETN. You will operate machinery including industrial powered equipment. Other duties will include:

  • Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral-based safety
  • Ensure compliance with applicable HSE performance standards, objectives, and regulations
  • Perform responsibilities in production processes as directed by Shift Leader
  • Follow standard operating procedures for all Nitration Plant positions
  • Adhere to the Housekeeping duties assigned to their area for that day. Assistance must be given if needed in other areas to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Train new team members
  • Log products according to regulatory requirements
  • Prepare products for transportation adhering to packing standards
  • Assist maintenance and utility when required
  • Maintain safe production and perform ad necessaryto meet production schedule and fill in when other teammates are out

What We're Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in manufacturing
  • Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives
  • Must be able to be trained in operating powered industrial trucks and havea valid drivers license
  • Ability to wear, maintain and operate SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) during HAZWOPER events
  • Must be able to work the night shift - training will be on day shift
  • Able to lift 50 - 60 pounds regularly
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
