Overview

As a Director in the GTI Transformation Control Tower (PMO function), you will be part of a core team which is governing, overseeing and supporting the execution of a complex, multi-year program to deliver a radical change to the provision of Infrastructure services for Deutsche Bank Group. GTI Transformation comprises two Key Deliverables programs: Hybrid Cloud Transformation and End User Computing Transformation, plus smaller (non-KD) initiatives which are focused on advancing Automation & Tooling. The Control Tower runs all aspects of portfolio governance and reporting to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Work with Key Deliverables leads and Head of Control Tower to monitor progress of execution and ensure early identification of risks to committed outcomes and plans, ensuring that these are appropriately captured and logged in source systems, with detailed mitigating action plans, and ensuring appropriate escalation to SteerCo, as necessary

  • Drive risk assessment exercises, as required, on elements of the multi-year plan, such as vendor exits, complex migrations, or data centre consolidations, working with internal stakeholders across TDI, 2nd Line of Defense, business

  • Own the Transformation Risk Assessment process for two KDs: Hybrid Cloud, End User Computing (EUC), interfacing with non-financial risk management and Risk Type Controllers to ensure timely completion of documentation and review process

  • Work with Risk and Audit remediation teams to ensure that the impact of Transformation on the Bank's risk profile and in-flight remediation activity is understood and documented

  • Regularly review Findings mapped to the two KDs to ensure correct linkage, and full alignment of impacted individuals on remediation plans and target completion dates

  • Provide support in the production of high-quality materials for regular executive governance and Regulatory meetings to convey progress against plan

How You'll Lead

  • As the primary Control Tower representative in the US, provide in-region support to the Head of Transformation (also US-based) including ad-hoc analysis, and local stakeholder engagement (Head of EUC Transformation) and provide "follow the sun" support to the Control Tower lead in UK in general operation of Control Tower processes and preparation for key governance forums

Skills You'll Need

  • Extensive experience in risk management, ideally within Technology

  • Experience of working in large scale programme office teams

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all organisational levels (internal and external)

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Proven ability to produce high-quality materials for use with executive audiences

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $170,000 to $280,500.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
