Role Play Operations Clerk

DUTIES:

Assists the Operations Coordinator in all actions concerning field and training operations, assignments, reports, products, rehearsals, certifications, and execution of JRTC rotations. Performs a variety of office, clerical, and routine housekeeping functions associated with role-play operation management; issues, tracks, recovers and accounts for props used during training; frequently transmits, receives, and logs information received from telephone, cellular, and portable radio system communications; routinely performs computing, filing, copying, and telephone answering duties; frequently submits and tracks work order requests; frequently tracks training events using MEMS database and Inject sheets; routinely uses military forms; routinely uses military maps; Shift work between day or night shift is routinely required during periods of rotational training exercise support; Work schedules are subject to change at any time; all other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Experience:



  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs that include Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Applicant must be able to obtain a NACI or security clearance for government computer access, not to extend 90 days beyond date of hire. If denied an interim NACI or security clearance you will be removed from the schedule until conflict is resolved or clearance granted.


Desired Experience:



  • Previous experience in the essential job duties described above.
  • Current NACI or security clearance.
  • Possess a working knowledge of standard military terminologies, radio procedures and military map reading.
  • Prior Military service.


Additional Requirements:



  • Must be in good physical condition capable of prolonged sitting, standing and walking; must be able to repeatedly lift heavy or bulky objects up to 25 LBS.
  • Must be able to work irregular hours and weekends.
  • Must be able to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental US and foreign countries.
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license.
  • Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening; will be subject to random drug screening.
