Overview

Blue Yonder, a leading supply chain software company, is seeking an Industry Strategies Director to join our Supply Chain Advisory team. The Industry Strategies Director will be responsible for driving sales growth and ensuring customer success in across Grocery/CPG in North America.

Scope

  • The successful candidate will operate at CXO level within our customers, providing thought leadership on business strategy and transformation; leveraging your experience and knowledge of the industry. Your gravitas, acumen and communication skills, will present you as an authoritative expert, representing Blue Yonder capabilities in a business context.
  • Working with the global Industry strategy peers and the senior cross-functional team, you will support the GTM approach according to TAM analysis and industry trends.
  • Support the GTM approach: co-defining the sales plays, industry packaging and messaging, thought leadership content and Partner strategy.

What you'll do

As a general guide, the role will be divided into the following activities:

Support the Annual Go To Market Business Plan for Grocery/CPG - 50%

  • GTM approach and Budget Interlock plan
  • Performance Analysis and Insights
  • Sales Plays & Sales Play Content Creation
  • Industry packaging, differentiation & industry messaging
  • Thought Leadership Content

Execution of Sales/Events - 40%

  • Sales support at CXO level
  • Participation in Industry events
  • Advisory boards
  • Building strong customer reference

Contributing to Corporate Strategy - 10%

  • Industry trends - develop market growth and development plans for expanding industries
  • Support TAM analysis and opportunities
  • Business Cases
  • Investment input (roadmap, acquisitions, etc.)
  • Ecosystem Partnerships
  • Business models

What we are looking for

  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience in Grocery/CPG, with a focus on industry-specific supply chain processes including Planning (CatMan, Allocation and Replenishment, Merchandise Financial Planning, Assortment, Demand & Supply Planning, Scheduling ) and Execution
  • Experience with commercially available supply chain technology solutions to help drive business value
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand complex industry trends and drivers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships and influence key industry stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results
  • Experience in a team-based selling environment.
  • Exceptional presentation, facilitation, communication and negotiation skills.

The salary range for this position is $129, 622.00 to $185,327.00 USD

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
