Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Analyst to join our dynamic and growing data analytics team. This role serves as a critical bridge between data engineering and advanced analytics, with a strong focus on onboarding new data sources, delivering high-quality analytical insights, and supporting clients with data-driven strategies. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, business-savvy, and capable of independently leading analytics projects from data ingestion through to insight delivery.

The Lead Data Analyst will play a key role in understanding clients' business objectives, translating those into data requirements, and transforming complex datasets into meaningful, actionable insights. This role requires deep expertise in accessing, manipulating, and analyzing data from both internal and external sources. In addition to delivering high-impact analysis, the Lead Data Analyst will mentor junior team members, fostering technical and professional growth to support their career development.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a technical lead on projects involving data onboarding, processing, and integration across multiple platforms and data sources.
  • Own the onboarding and validation of new data sources (1st-, 2nd-, and 3rd-party), ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and readiness for analysis.
  • Guide project lifecycles from raw data acquisition through insight generation and strategic recommendation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements aligned with business goals.
  • Mentor analysts on technical skills, best practices, and analytic methodologies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's /Master's Degree in Computer Science/Statistics/Information Science/Mathematics or related field or equivalent job experience. (Graduate degree in related field preferred)
  • Minimum 4-6 years' experience in data analytics/engineering with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role
  • Strong SQL and Python programming skills are a mandatory requirement
  • Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based enterprise data warehouse (experience with RedShift/Google Big Query/Databricks preferred).
  • Design and optimize SQL queries, ETL processes, and data pipelines for performance and scalability.
  • Write and maintain Python scripts for automation, data transformation, and API-based data ingestion.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Domo, Power BI)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead projects from data ingestion to insight delivery.
  • Strong communication to audience members across all management levels internally and externally
  • Proven track record of demonstrating the ability to summarize and present analytic findings
  • Previous background in media analytics in a media agency or organization strongly preferred

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is$123,379.00-$202,694.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
