Position summary:

Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Distribution Integrity Management Program (DIMP) in compliance with federal and state pipeline safety regulations (49 CFR Part 192, Subpart P). This role supports the safe and reliable operation of the natural gas distribution system by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with pipeline infrastructure.

Pay Range: This posting includes the full pay range for this position. Pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
Level II: $84,600 - $126,900
Senior: $94,800 - $156,250

Reporting Relationship: Manager, DIMP & AIPM

Location: Council Bluffs, Iowa; Fayetteville, Arkansas; or Lakewood, Colorado

Essential Functions:
* Develop and maintain the DIMP framework, including risk models, threat identification, and performance metrics.
* Use various Integrity platforms such as ESRI, ESRI-based risk model, Asset Suite, PowerBI to analyze, track, and record integrity activities.
* Analyze system data (e.g., leaks, material types, incident history) to identify trends and prioritize risk mitigation activities. Recommend and track integrity-related capital and O&M projects based on risk analysis.
* Collaborate with GIS, Operations, Engineering, and Pipeline Safety teams to ensure accurate data integration and alignment with DIMP objectives
* Participate in internal, state, and federal audits. Provide support and general correspondence as applicable.
* Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for Operations regarding DIMP-related activities, providing guidance, training, and program updates.
* Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to pipeline integrity.
* Support root cause investigations of pipeline failures or significant events.
* Prepare regulatory reports and documentation to federal and state agencies

Additional Responsibilities:
* Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record that is satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
* Maintain professional relationships with vendors and contractors.
* Maintain supportive and respectful working relationships with operations, IT support team and other business & system owners.

What Is Required:
Level II:
* Bachelor's Degree Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
* Minimum of 1 year of gas industry experience, knowledge of gas operations, or integrity management.
* This role will be required to travel up to 10% of the time.
Senior:
* Bachelor's Degree Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
* Minimum of 4 years of gas industry experience, knowledge of gas operations, or integrity management.
* This role will be required to travel up to 10% of the time.

What Is Desired:
* Working knowledge of PHMSA regulations, accepted industry practices and methods by attending pipeline and various industry group meetings such as (NACE, PHMSA/DOT, AGA, ASME, MEA, SGA, PRCI and GTI), continued education seminars, conferences and classes.
* Knowledge of company-specific policies and practices, regulatory and tariff requirements.
* Technical knowledge in the following: Cathodic Protection, network designs, standards, general system operations, and general business and financial principles.
* Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues/problems.
* Ability to organize, schedule and prioritize departmental and individual work tasks to meet various schedules, objectives and deadlines.
* Ability to work within a team, to assist with special projects; and, to focus attention on details and completing projects.
* Ability to analyze business reporting information and recommend improvements. Sensible business systems knowledge.
* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
* Ability to thoroughly document analytical work and workflow processes.
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and PowerBI.
