JOB SUMMARY: Our team is looking for a motivated and energetic engineering candidate to support quality operations of a world class bearing supplier.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, facilitate and support quality improvements in a machine shop environment using progressive problem solving techniques and statistical methodology.
  • Work with the Manufacturing to improve quality and develop solid corrective actions.
  • Responsible for area quality metrics, data collection and analysis.
  • Monitor key process parameters.
  • Lead and support quality initiatives.
  • Communicate quality aspects within a team approach to drive improvements.
  • Daily interaction with operators and supervision to identify and improve product and process quality.
  • Perform internal and/or supplier quality audits.
  • Oversight and training of quality related process and systems.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Four year degree and ASQ certifications with prior aerospace industry experience preferred; two year degree with machine shop experience required.

WORK AUTHORIZATION: Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
