What You'll Do: Manage a team of highly skilled software engineers in design and development of the new generation highly scalable resilient cloud-based Clearing applications. Mentor and collaborate with developers, architects, and product owners to successfully deliver business and operational functionality for internal and external users. This candidate must be able to solve problems creatively, communicate effectively, and proactively engage in technical decision making to achieve these objectives. A team player and work well with business, technical and non-technical professionals in an agile environment. You'll be working alongside experts that are building OCC's next generation platform for securities lending system, and paving the future of digital transformation in the capital markets industry
Lead a team of developers to meet performance expectations and deadlines while collaborating with business and technology stakeholders Continuously thinking about the next steps while improving yourself and others around you Developing solutions to complex technical challenges while coding, testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and documenting the systems you develop Optimizing application performance through analysis, code refactoring, and system tuning Recommending technologies and tools that improve the efficiency and quality of OCC's systems and development processes.

[Required] 10 years of software development experience [Required] 7+ years of experience in Java based applications [Required] 7+ years of experience team building, management, and mentoring with at least 4+ years with Manager or higher roles [Required] 4+ years of experience with cloud and DevOps (AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, Harness) [Required] 4+ years of experience with CICD (Jenkins, JIRA, GIT) [Required] Experience with Event processing model and Object-Oriented programing [Required] Experience with Relational and non-relational DBs Experience in JavaScript application development Experience with Logging / monitoring frameworks and tools (ELK / Splunk) Understanding of IAM and secure coding practices (OWASP, Sysdig, Black Duck, Veracode) 'Get stuff done' and flexible mindset for greater good of the organization Intellectually curious and eager to learn
Technical Skills:

- The salary range listed for any given position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at OCC, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and/or education.

- All employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, company and individual performance and are not guaranteed.
Salary Range $169,100.00 - $280,800.00
Incentive Range 23% to 30%
