***We are currently hiring a remote Provider Implementation Specialist for one of the top healthcare companies in Colorado! This position will start out part time, but eventually turn full time.***
***Cannot be hired in these states:* Alaska, Maine, Puerto Rico, Arkansas, Mississippi, South Dakota, Delaware, New Mexico, Vermont, Hawaii, Oklahoma, Wisconsin *MUST-HAVE: Excel experience, intermediate. An excel test will be required to take and a score of 90% or better will be accepted. * Implementation Specialist - Revenue Cycle & Insurance Operations About the Role As an Implementation Specialist at Virta Health, you'll play a critical role in setting up new customers and ensuring their billing processes with insurance payers are accurate, scalable, and efficient. You'll serve as the bridge between our product/engineering teams and our billing operations, helping to launch new clients and maintain smooth billing workflows. What You'll Do * Customer Onboarding & Billing Setup * Manage the end-to-end setup of new customers and their insurance billing processes. * Review incoming implementation requests from internal teams; ensure all necessary details (e.g., pricing, billing terms) are included before proceeding. * Initiate contact with insurance payers using standardized templates; for new payers, lead calls to align on billing workflows and requirements. * Cross-Functional Collaboration * Act as a liaison between product, engineering, billing, sales, and customer service teams. * Identify upstream gaps in processes and propose scalable, systems-oriented solutions. * Testing & Validation * Oversee the initial claims testing process post-launch to ensure accurate billing. * Coordinate with insurance companies to validate claim processing before transitioning to the charge entry team. * Ongoing Maintenance * Track and implement annual or contract-based price increases for existing customers. * Maintain internal documentation and data sheets to reflect changes in customer or payer information. * Ensure billing systems are updated promptly to reflect any changes in payer requirements or customer contracts. What We're Looking For * Required: * 2+ years of customer-facing experience in a role requiring critical thinking and adaptability (not script-based). * Strong communication skills with the ability to guide stakeholders through complex processes. * Confidence and professionalism when interacting with insurance payers. * Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. * A systems-thinking mindset: you enjoy solving problems by identifying root causes and building scalable solutions. * Nice to Have: * 6+ months of experience in the healthcare industry, especially with knowledge of how payers and providers interact. * Experience working with insurance claims or billing systems. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
