Dynamic and results-driven technical leader with over 10 years of experience in the nickel and specialty metals industry, including 5+ years in aerospace. Proven expertise in driving operational excellence, cultural transformation, and a Zero Defects mindset across complex manufacturing environments. Adept at leading cross-functional engineering teams and managing technical resources to support strategic business goals.

  • Technical Leadership: Oversight of Process Engineering, Product Engineering, and Laboratory functions to ensure high product and process performance.
  • Process & Product Excellence: Expertise in VIM, VAR, ESR, and bar mill operations; strong focus on process control, yield improvement, and scrap reduction.
  • Quality & Compliance: Champion of SPC, MSA, PFMEA, and 8D methodologies; committed to building a strong internal and external quality reputation.
  • Strategic Oversight: Budgetary responsibility, capital expenditure planning, and technical support for raw material purchasing and sales contract reviews.
  • Customer & Industry Engagement: Technical liaison for customer support, complaint resolution, and industry representation at seminars and forums.

Education & Qualifications
  • Education: B.S. in Metallurgy, Materials, Chemical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field (M.S./Ph.D. preferred).
  • Industry Experience: 10+ years in technical management within the metals industry; 5+ years in aerospace with leadership responsibilities.
  • Special Skills:
    • High-temperature nickel-based superalloy melting/conversion
    • Proficiency in SPC, MSA, PFMEA, and 8D
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Rapid decision-making in high-pressure environments

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $143200 to $214800 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 3X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
