Site Supervisor:

$27.50 per hour

Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this position is to provide supervision of Per Mar Fire Panel Operators and Fire Protection Security Officers at an assigned account. Supervisory duties include ensuring proper employee performance by adhering to company and client policies and procedures, training of employees, and assisting with scheduling to ensure proper security is maintained at the client site according to contract needs.
  • Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Directly supervise Fire Panel Operators and Fire Protection Security Officers at assigned account.
  • Adhere to and enforce all Per Mar and client company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with scheduling Fire Panel Operators and Fire Protection Security Officers.
  • Assist with the preparation and communication of post orders for assigned site.
  • Assist with interviewing prospective employees for assigned account.
  • Act as liaison between assigned client and the branch office.
  • Assist with the resolution of client issues and complaints.
  • Communicate with General or Operations Manager on regular basis.
  • Review and ensure all payroll information is accurate for employees at assigned account.
  • Oversee training of all new Fire Panel Operators and Fire Protection Security Officers at assigned account.
  • Maintain, review and distribute required reports and records.
  • Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of all company vehicles assigned to Physical Security Division.
  • Responsible for keeping track of mileage as required by client.
  • Conduct regular security post checks at assigned account.
  • Enforce and maintain measures to control overtime and training costs.
  • Carry or wear on your person state security license and Per Mar ID card.
  • Wear and maintain appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as outlined for the position and follow all PPE policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by interacting with the Per Mar Security Services internal/external customers in a mutually respectful manner.
  • Adhere to the highest standards of ethical business conduct and compliance by acting lawfully, ethically, honestly and professionally in the performance of their jobs at all times.
  • When appropriate, inform customers of Per Mar Security Services of products and services and refer business to appropriate department.
  • As this position develops, the employee may be assigned additional duties or special projects as deemed necessary by management.
  • Assume responsibility for understanding and complying with Per Mar Security Services attendance expectations.
  • Additional Management Duties
  • Perform all supervisory/managerial responsibilities in a manner that fully complies with Per Mar's Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Policy and that meets the requirements of all related federal and state regulations.
  • Hire, train and mentor direct reports by making sound hiring decisions, training each new hire and current staff as needed and continually mentor staff.
  • Address performance and behavior issues in a timely manner. Work with Human Resources when necessary regarding employee relations issues and follow through with appropriate action.
  • Integrated Fire Safety Responsibilities
  • Monitor fire alarm control panels 24/7 and acknowledge alarm types: fault, pre-alarm, and fire.
  • Dispatch Fire Protection Officers immediately upon alarm activation and maintain communication throughout the incident.
  • Notify internal emergency contacts and site supervisors during alarm events.
  • Log all communications and actions taken during incidents and ensure logs are secure and audit-ready.
  • Report faults or malfunctions in the fire panel system and assist with system resets and technician support.
  • Participate in scheduled fire panel testing and fire drills, verifying functionality of alerts and indicators.
