Job Objective:
Multi-skilled position responsible for the custody transfer field measurement of oil and water transmission pipelines. Measure and minimize Lost & Unaccounted (L&U) for barrels for record keeping and use as troubleshooting tool. Have working knowledge of oil and gas handling facilities and associated equipment and how it affects L&U. Work with Field Operations teams to ensure that all assigned equipment and facilities are always operating in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Installation, programming, calibration and maintenance of EFM Flow computers.
- Installation, programming and maintenance of remote communications hardware, (troubleshooting communications).
- Operate, inspect, and maintain meter tubes, Ultrasonic Meters, Coriolis meters, Provers and other measurement equipment.
- Manage and schedule the repair and maintenance of primary and secondary measurement devices.
- Maintain custody meter witnessing schedule and liquid meter proving.
- Review daily volume report to identify system balance issues and investigate variances.
- Compile and put together a monthly volume statement for accounting by the 4th of the month.
- Review monthly volume statements with Harvest accounting for possible errors and correct and finalize volume statements by the 10th of each month.
- Participate in investigations into the cause and remediation of sources of system variances.
- Develop and maintain customer relations with Producers, Field Operations, Engineering Down Stream Customer and other cross functional teams to identify and resolve meter issues, communication issues and measurement variances.
- Manage and coordinate FMP issues/INCS.
- Support cost management, budgets, AFE's.
- Manage volume discrepancies. Monthly reporting of GLFU.
- Operate appropriate PC software (Star, Excel, Work, Winnccu32).
- Operate a vehicle (must have a Texas driver's license).

Qualifications:
- Eight (8) years minimum experience in the measurement field.
- Self-driven, accomplish tasks with minimal supervision
- Have working knowledge of industry best practices and API recommendations.
- Experience working in a oil gathering and transportation system.
- Installation, programming, calibration and maintenance of EFM Flow computers (Totalflow, Autopilots, Omni), gas chromatographs.
- Required working knowledge of Program Logic Controllers (PLC) and flow computers.
- Working knowledge of electronic or pneumatic control valves.
- Ability to read and understand Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
- Ability to understand and interpret equipment manuals.
- Ability to coordinate and/or execute projects, track project costs and expenditures using Excel spreadsheets.
- Validate oil measurement data and perform system balances before releasing to the accounting department.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
- Ability to accurately solve problems.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, and the public.
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
Education Requirements:
- Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability and skill to handle the duties and responsibilities of the position.
