Who we are looking for: Horizon Industries is seeking a Deputy Portfolio Manager (DPfM) to support a major component of the company's federal government operations. The DPfM serves as the hands-on coordinator for the multiple task orders (TO) in the DLA portfolio and assists the Portfolio Manager (PfM) in working with the several Government Contracting Officers (KO), Contracting Officer Representatives (COR), task order-level Project Managers, and their respective Program Management Offices. Under the guidance of the PfM, the DPfM is responsible for ensuring that the portfolio teams are appropriately staffed, TO schedules and milestones are met in a timely manner, subcontractors are appropriately managed, and Portfolio metrics are reported accurately. Qualifications
Certification:Must have Project Management certification (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, other equivalent nationally recognized certification). Education: BS in an IT field or four (4) additional years of related IT experience. Citizenship & Clearance:Must be a US citizen.Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3). Location: Horizon is headquartered in the heart of Tyson's Corner, VA. This position is a hybrid. (Wednesdays in person) Occasional travel may be required. Salary:There are various factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, education, certifications, and competencies that align with the specified role, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
