- Demonstrating a passion for delivering outstanding service and support through responsive and positive interactions with co-workers, members, vendors and outside parties through various communication channels (Phone, Email, Chat, SharePoint)
- Responsible for managing daily mail operations including preparing, sorting, and posting outgoing mail in a timely and accurate manner
- Assuring quality member service through responsive and positive interaction with members
- Effectively manages a high call volume dealing directly with members and credit union business lines (each staff person averages 350 incoming calls a month
- Listening and assessing members and co-workers needs and effectively communicating CU options to satisfy needs
- Proficient in the daily tasks of assigned functions and successfully performs those functions as requested
- Working with operational policies and procedures for the department
- Responding to branch and member related inquiries and services related to Symitar and deposit policies and procedures
- Building and maintaining relationships with members and teammates by offering support via email, phone and WebEx
- Responsible for various support and maintenance tasks relating to the effective delivery of department operating functions under the responsibility of the Deposit Operations Department
- Provides technical support with various software platforms, including: Application Extender, Ascensus, Department of Revenue, Federal Reserve, FIS, Image Center/Smart Pay, PASS and Vanco
- Ensuring adherence to all credit union and regulatory record retention requirements
- Participating in business line related networks/user groups and maintains credit union standards in the sharing of information
- Assuming responsibility for all deposit rate and fees changes
- Updating operational policies and procedures related to savings and checking account products for level III position
What you bring to the team: For Deposit Operations Analyst I Competitive pay for DAO I: $20.86 - $31.29 per hour, dependent on relevant qualifications plus an annual discretionary incentive plan
- The target starting pay for this position is $20.86 - $26.07 per hour, typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicant's pay history into account.
- High School graduate or equivalent, or greater
- One (1) year experience in a financial institution
- One (1) year experience in customer service, data and/or transaction analysis
- Computer experience including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze information and form recommendations
For Deposit Operations Analyst II Competitive pay for DAO II: $23.29 - $34.94 per hour, dependent on relevant qualifications plus an annual discretionary incentive plan
- The target starting pay for this position is $23.29 - $29.12 per hour, typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicant's pay history into account.
- Three (3) years financial institution experience with preference given for experience in a back office operating area
- Three (3) years' experience in customer service, data and/or transaction analysis
- Three (3) years' experience handling escalated and emotionally charged calls
- Three (3) years' experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint and PDF technologies.
For Deposit Operations Analyst III Competitive pay for DAO III: $26.64 - $39.96 per hour, dependent on relevant qualifications plus an annual discretionary incentive plan
- The target starting pay for this position is $26.64 - $33.30 per hour, typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicant's pay history into account.
- Five (5) years financial institution experience, with Three (3) years' experience in a similar role.
- Three (3) years' experience processing Business Accounts, Death Claims, Escheatment, IRA's, Trusts or Special Accounts
- Five (5) years' experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Sharepoint and PDF technologies
- Advanced knowledge in Reg CC, E and TISA
- Advanced experience with use of Symitar, Application Xtender and Federal Reserve.
Bonus Points if you have:
- Obtained AAP Certification
- Proficient use of Symitar, Application Extender and Federal Reserve
- Experience with processing ACH
- Experience working with legal requests
- Communication and Customer Service training

- The range above allows our employees room for growth through annual merit and other pay increase during their tenure in the position.
Where we're located: 330 Union Ave, Olympia WA. Employee must reside and perform all work in the state of Washington. This is a hybrid position that blends working in-office and from home. Works onsite three (3) occasions per week. When you'd work: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, full time minimum 40 hours per week, may be expected to work limited holidays with scheduling flexibility to meet service needs for this non-exempt position Working from home/hybrid requirements:
