Responsibilities to Anticipate/Expect:
  • Lead and mentor a team of leaders & individual contributors to ensure department & program objectives are achieved.
  • Develop succession plans and provide training and developmental opportunities
  • Foster a results & execution oriented culture of continuous improvement and innovation
  • Address and resolve any supply chain issues or disruptions in a timely manner.
  • Engage and build relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, at all levels
  • Look across all programs to ensure proper prioritization, resourcing, and execution of SCM milestones
  • Preform risk surveillance and proactively communicate and drive risk mitigation efforts
  • Develop and maintain metrics that provide visibility of SCM performance and project status; drive performance and risk mitigations to meet commitments
  • Communicate project/program priorities through the SCM organization and drive execution to support program requirements
  • Drive achievement of material sales and earnings objectives through proposal development, target pricing, and mitigating disruptions and inefficiencies of procurement activities
  • Drive Master Scheduling and Oracle MRP demand management; Supervise MRP stability and perform root cause analysis of schedule volatility, implementing associated corrective actions
  • Interface with Manufacturing on Manufacturing Bill of Material development and lead change control process through SCM
  • Coordinate plant and SCM MRP planning functions and serve as SCM liaison to the plants
  • Drive operational excellence and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Implement best practices in supply chain planning and management.


Qualifications Sought:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience across the product lifecycle (Development, Production and Sustainment) preferred.
  • Knowledge of business financials, Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Oracle MRP, scheduling tools, and critical path analysis.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage, and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
  • This position may require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. (Non-US Citizens will not be eligible)
