What you'll do:

• Properly identify mortgage documents, understand the FNMA Desktop Underwriter (DU) and FHLMC Loan Prospector (LP) documents, and be able to understand income and asset requirements as outlined by the DU, LP, and other applicable selling guides.
• Work with multiple deadlines simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities or assignments.

What you'll need:

• 1+ years of related experience in Mortgage Quality Control or similar field.
• High school diploma required; Some college or technical training preferred.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending, including sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, USDA and VA guidelines.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of Federal Regulatory requirements.
• Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
• Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) preferred.
